Horwood House is a stunning Edwardian Manor House on the outskirts on Milton Keynes. This was the setting for Hannah & Christian’s April wedding.
Hannah decided to get ready at Horwood House, meaning she did not need to worry about travelling from another location for the wedding ceremony. Her wedding make-up and hair team of Hannah Rafferty make-up and wedlock hair were on hand to create Hannah’s wedding look and look after her bridesmaids. Hannah chose a beautiful lace off the shoulder dress as her wedding look with her bridesmaids in flattering pink dresses to fit the wedding theme.
Christian got ready at home and we met him at Horwood House for a chat and some photo’s pre-ceremony. We all then headed to the ceremony room as guests arrived and awaited Hannah’s arrival for the wedding ceremony. Hannah chose to reveal her wedding day look to her loved ones as she walked down the stairs, before they all headed towards the ceremony room.
Hannah walked down the aisle to live music, with Christian awaiting her arrival. After the ceremony we quickly organised everyone for the confetti line and then took the group photos the couple had requested, while everyone relaxed in the gardens. We then took our bride and groom for a walk around Horwood House’s gardens to capture some couples photo’s and give them some time alone. We made sure to take advantage of the beautiful cherry blossom that was in bloom at the time. We then left our couple to mingle with their wedding guests while we took candid photos and some photo’s of the reception room set up and wedding cake made by Eva Cockrell Cake Design.
During the wedding speeches the couple played a game of Mr and Mrs. It’s always an entertaining game for the couple and their guests. After the meal and speeches everyone was invited to explore the wedding venue while the room was re-set for the evening party. We took the opportunity to head back to the ceremony room to take some photo’s with our bride and groom in the large bay windows at the end of the room, now the room had been cleared.
Our couple then headed off to spend some time with their guests while we prepared for the evening dancing and captured some more candid photo’s. The evening started with our couple cutting their wedding cake which was made by Eva Cockrell Cake Design. It was then time for the couples first dance as husband and wife. They were accompanied by a live band, with their guests watching on, who were then invited to join the newly married couple on the dance floor. After capturing some dancing floor photo’s we said our goodbyes and backed up our photos before heading home.
