As a wedding photographer based in Milton Keynes, I obviously get to know lots of lovely wedding venues in our area. We are very lucky here to have a huge variety of wedding venues available, from barns to tipis and hotels to name but a few. So have a read below about some of our Milton Keynes based wedding venues, I will update this blog from time to time with more venues.
Chicheley Hall
Chicheley Hall is a stunning wedding venue based on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. Chicheley Hall is a grade II listed building with 80 acres of grounds, so plenty of space for you and your guests and as you can imagine plenty of character inside to give you stunning backdrops for your wedding day both inside and outside. The venue can accommodate up to 100 guests for the ceremony and 150 guests for the evening. On-site accommodation also means your guests stay at the hotel so no need to worry about how they will get home.

Woughton House
Woughton House is another hidden gem of a wedding venue in Milton Keynes. I have to be honest I am super biased about this venue as it’s where I got married myself so of course, I love it. The venue can accommodate up to 180 guests for your ceremony and 250 for the evening reception. Whilst having a fairly central location in Milton Keynes it looks onto the surrounding countryside and fields filled with sheep and cows.

The Cruck Barn
The Cruck Barn in Milton Keynes is another wedding venue that’s perhaps not so well know. As you pull up to the venue you’ll see a horses field on the left and pretty cottage garden on the right. The main barn is over 500 yrs old and can seat up to 100 guests for the ceremony and 150 for the evening meal. With open grassland and hidden winding paths for your guests to explore, there is plenty of space to hold your wedding day.

Abbey Hill Golf Course
Another lovely wedding venue in Milton Keynes which I love to photograph weddings at. It’s also right on my doorstep, I can literally walk there in 10 mins, I won’t because I can’t carry all my equipment. But it is that close to me. The venue is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 90 seated guests, with the neighboring hotel a short walk away if your guests wish to stay the night. You also have the opportunity to head out onto the golf course to use this as a backdrop to your wedding photos.

Woburn Village Hall
Another lovely venue in Milton Keynes and one so hidden you could drive straight past it. This one is well worth a look.
