Miriam & David’s Wedding at Chicheley Hall Milton Keynes

May 7, 2024 | Uncategorized

Miriam and David’s wedding at Chicheley Hall in Milton Keynes perfectly exemplifies how a small and intimate wedding can feel extra special. The couple shared their wedding day with 25 of their closest friends and family. Miriam decided to get ready at Chicheley Hall, enjoying a calm and quiet morning getting ready for her wedding day with the help of Melissa Wood Hair and Makeup. Miriam made use of one of the conference rooms for her hair and makeup, then went upstairs to the bridal suite to get dressed into her Wed2Be dress.

David chose to get ready at home, with all his home creature comforts around him, and wore a suit from Fogarty Formal Hire. He was careful to choose a suit that fitted the grand setting of Chicheley Hall. Once dressed and ready David headed to All Saints Church in Milton Keynes Village to greet his wedding guests and await the arrival of Miriam, who was having the finishing touches applied to her hair and make up and collecting her stunning wedding bouquet from Lesley at Woburn Wedding flowers who also provided flowers for the reception and staircase.

Miriam traveled to the church in a car from Allerton Taylor & Regency Carriages with her father, who walked her down the aisle. The couple had an intimate ceremony before heading outside for a confetti send off. We stopped for a few quick photos outside the church before the newly married couple headed off together to Chicheley Hall for their wedding reception.

We quickly arranged the group photos the couple had requested along with some couples photo’s, then headed inside to take photos of the room details and the couple and guests mingling. The couple and their guests made full use of Chicheley Hall, exploring the grounds and building. To entertain the guests The Game Lab were there with their mobile escape room. This went down really well with the guests and I must admit its the first time I’ve photographed inside one. It was great fun watching everyone try to solve the clues.

After everyone had enjoyed their meal it was soon time for the cake cut and first dance. The cake from Caked and Baked by Hayley fitted perfectly with the couple’s peach theme and looked at home in the venue. After the cake was cut, Miriam & David surprised their guest with their first dance. They had secretly been attending dance classes for some time and had learned a dance, especially for their wedding day.

As we packed up and said goodbye it was really striking how lovely an intimate wedding can be. Every guest was there because they were truly special to the couple. The smaller number of guests meant our couple could spend quality time with them instead of rushing between people. The atmosphere was really friendly and filled with love for Miriam & David.
