How are we already one week into 2024? It feels crazy to say that. It has been lovely though, seeing so many of you excited for your wedding, sharing your pregnancy news or just generally excited for 2024. we have a year full of photography ahead. As I write this I too am awaiting our new arrival, it’s quite strange knowing a new baby could be here in a few days or a few weeks. I feel a bit like a ticking time bomb, with no idea when it’s going to go off.

Looking back on last year 2023 was a busy year for us. We had so many lovely weddings and maternity shoots to get involved with. It was especially lovey to see some of our previous wedding couples return to the studio with baby news. We brought in new software and systems to make the galleries and paperwork side of things easier for you all to access. We’ll continue to make small changes to make things run even smoother this year. We also launched a new updated website, which was quite scary and a huge challenge, we’re still tweaking the website but it’s feeling like it looks better and is hopefully easier for you to navigate around.

Looking ahead to this year our wedding photography season kicks off in February. It’s always nice to start the season early and we’re excited to get going. We also have wedding fairs starting in January, these are always fun as we get to hear your engagement stories and plans for your wedding day. It’s hard not to get swept up in the excitement ourselves as we talk to you.

The studio and family photography side of things is also looking busy with plenty of photoshoots booked in. I love seeing so many of you return for photoshoots, it’s honestly so nice to watch your families grow and children grow each year, it’s lovely capturing the next stage of your family’s journey and hearing whats happened since we last saw you. We’ll also be launching some new sessions soon, which we’re really excited about. Let us know if there is anything you would like to see us start offering, studio or outdoor shoots.

We also have lots of wedding fairs booked in this year. We have shows with Central Exhibitions in Milton Keynes, Northampton and Daventry. We will also be at Chicheley Hall every month supporting them as their recommended photographers. It’s a venue we love so we’re always happy to be there.

So 2024 is looking to be a jam packed but fun year business wise as well as busy in our home life with a toddler and newborn, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We can’t wait to see you all in 2024 and hope you’re ready for a fun filled year of creating and capturing new memories.
